Galadriel often walked the forests at her home mostly in the dark of night and especially when only the stars shone down. It was a reminder of the times long before when the world was still new and no sun or moon had yet been placed.

She was not surprised to see one of Arwen's escorts wandering about their forest home. She has felt his mind aflutter, ill at ease under her boughs. So she had come, seeking him out, curious to see if she might offer comfort.

"What troubles your mind Lindir?" She knew of it, but hoped that in talking it might draw his mind away from the differences of their respective homes.
