What: Preparing for BoFA
Where: Woodland Realm
It was a strange thing. Galion often took care of the king's armor; he polished the silver often, keeping up its appearance as a symbol of Thranduil's might and majesty. No short cut did he ever take with the king's things - he would quickly be found out if he let his disinterest in work slip through, but he took care also because his lord was, in fact, a king worthy of that respect.
However, this morning when he attended to this task, he took extra care. This time, he was preparing it for it's true purpose. It was a reminder that this set of armor was not an ornament, but equipment for battle.
Just now he was double checking the links, clasps and buckles for signs of wear as the chest plate and pauldrons hung on its stand, and awaiting the Elvenking's arrival.
